It is the goal of the Akbank Jazz Festival to render the unique and delightful world of jazz accessible to the audience, the rich world of jazz that is at times classical and at times experimental. On the 13th year of the Festival in October 2003, under the title ‘Pulsating Jazz’, the synergy between the musicians and the audience was perhaps more apparent than ever before.
