Info Services Expo 2005, the exhibition that accompanies the Congress and Forum, is the "shop window" where suppliers to the industry display their wares to 1,000 publishers, CEOs, managing directors, senior editors and other managers who will attend the events, to be held from 29 May to 1 June (www.wan-press.org/seoul2005).
The Expo offers suppliers to the newspaper industry "a unique opportunity to listen to what decision makers have to say," says Ryan Stephens, Director of International Sales for Tribune Media Services.
Mary Fleming Svensson, Sales Manager/International for the Washington Post Writers Group, said Info Service Expo "allows us to easily meet up with old friends and make many new ones at the same time."
Kerry Slagle, President of Atlantic Syndication, called it "the best place in the world to meet clients and market our various syndicated products."
The Expo is also the place to learn about the latest developments from the Shaping the Future of the Newspaper project, which analyses and promotes all major operational and strategic developments and opportunities for the press industry. The principal objective is to deliver essential planning and information tools to newspaper publishers, editors and managers world-wide (www.futureofthenewspaper.com).
SFN is conducted by the World Association of Newspapers, in cooperation with its strategic business partners: MAN Roland, a leading world company for newspaper production systems, PubliGroupe, the Swiss-based international advertising promotion group; UPM, one of the world’s leading printing paper producers; Samsung, a global leader in semiconductor, telecommunication and digital convergence technology; and Telenor, the leading Norwegian telcom, IT and media company
