The last WEF Master Class took place in Bucharest, Romania,
the 2 and 3 October 2008
For the first time, the World Editors Forum organised a Master Class in South Eastern Europe (in association with the Media Management Institute).
The event took place in Bucharest, Romania, the 2 and 3 October 2008 with six sessions of 90 minutes focused on "reinventing the newsroom: how to set up your integrated newsroom". The WEF Master Class was shaped for editors-in-chief and deputy editors. The WEF director, the international editor of The Times, UK, and the CEO of VisualEditors.com, USA, were the instructors.
What they learnt?

- What drives social networks and how can we engage and contribute to online communities
- Designing newsroom processes that support new ways of working across print, online and mobile
- How to energise the workforce and overcome resistance to change
- How to lead with confidence in times of great uncertainty.
